| Description | The Slow Burn Theatre Company, which has earned critical acclaim over the last few years by presenting high quality, daring, contemporary and intelligent works of musical theatre, has announced its next production: PARADE, a Tony Award-winning show about the infamous trial, conviction and lynching of Leo Frank in 1915 an example of rampant anti-Semitism in the United States. With music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and book by Alfred Uhry, PARADE won Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Original Score (out of nine nominations) and six Drama Desk Awards. The Slow Burn Theatre Company production of PARADE will run January 23 through February 9 at the West Boca Performing Arts Theater, located at 12811 West Glades Road (about 3.5 miles west of SR7/441).
