While the number of Jewish themed web sites has grown in recent years, few offer comprehensive, localized information and services on a broad scale, FloridaJewish, is the exception that proves the rule. This locally-based site offers a plethora of services and information ranging from guides to state institutions, personalities and destinations of importance to the Jewish community.

It isn’t all informational though – there is a sense of community fostered here and resources as well. Different rabbis offer sermons in print form, there are discussion panels, a Speak Out section for Jewish writers, and such fun features as the “Mensch of the Month” designee and a date converter for people to transpose their English birthdays or anniversaries into the Hebrew dates. There are many more features that will interest and inform the visitor. This is why we selected FloridaJewish.com as our best Florida Jewish web site.
