Making Friends with the Enemy... The Nuclear Way

In a speech recently made in front of a group of children, our President, George W. Bush, offered the following bit of wisdom: "One way to fight evil is to fight it with kindness and love and compassion." While I would agree if the statement were made concerning the subject of something like substance abuse, when it comes to fighting Islamic Fundamentalism, it is as far from reality as possible. The real way to fight this type of evil - the only way - is - if I may steal a line from one of my favorite Planet of the Apes movies - by "pure merciless force." Aside from Arabic, that is the only language they understand!

A fundamental flaw being portrayed by this Administration is that it believes these monsters actually have feelings. Why else would we drop food on the Afghanis or ask our American children to donate money to their children (a.k.a. Future Terrorists of Afghanistan)? How silly of us to think that we're actually going to sway Muslim opinion throughout the world by acting "compassionate"! The truth is that they don't care. The Muslims that hate us, at the end of the day, will still hate us. And the ones that don't, at the end of the day, won't.

In other words, we're not gaining any ground here. In fact, not only are we not gaining any ground, we are actually losing ground, for the simple reason that we're spending too much time kissing behinds and dropping food and not enough time dropping bombs. And when I say bombs, I'm not talking about the "bottle rockets" we've been launching at the Taliban� I'm talking about major (and minor) nukes!

No one ('cept for a few drugged-out Woodstock hippie chicks) will ever say that President Harry S. Truman didn't have guts. When he ordered the bombing out of two Japanese cities, during World War II, Truman knew far ahead of time of the civilian casualties that would be incurred, but he also knew that it was the only way to end the war.

The attacks on our World Trade Center and Pentagon took the lives of 5000 Americans, far greater a number than the attack on Pearl Harbor. Question: If the decimation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was the right thing to do, in response to Pearl Harbor, then why the heck are we saving our nuclear weapons now? And furthermore, if we're not using them, why do we have the nukes in the first place? After all, there is no more Soviet Union to compete with. If the attacks are not a good enough reason to use them, then what are we holding on to them for?!!!

Now, at this point, you may think of me as being no less than a madman, but hear me out, for I have a method to my madness.

In using nuclear weaponry, I do not suggest we randomly take out cities and towns around the globe. That would be highly irresponsible. What I do suggest, though, is that we perform, like our Administration has been saying, strategic targeted attacks.

First stop, Syria! Over twenty terrorist organizations, including a handful of the major ones, have their home offices located in the city of Damascus, the capital of Syria. Instead of trying to woo Syria into our coalition against terrorism, as our Administration has been doing, by offering to take them off the "terrorist list," we should nuke Damascus and send the members of each one of its housed terrorist organizations scurrying around like a chicken with its head chopped off. If we're truly looking to eradicate terrorism, this is the first place I would have gone after.

Second, Osama bin Laden, Al Quaida and the Taliban. It seems that these were the guys responsible for our recent attacks, or at least they have been a decent scapegoat. Before wasting this last month bombing Taliban installations, while at the same time allowing members of the Taliban government to run free into Pakistan, we should have nuked the Afghanistan capital of Kabul. In addition, we should not be sending out our ground troops to their deathbeds by having them search for Enemy Number One in any mountainous caverns. A low level nuke will flatten any mountain out, and thereby flatten bin Laden and his evil band of not-so-merry men.

Third would be Iraq. Iraq could very well be to blame for the recent Anthrax attacks that have found their way to nearly every part of our country. But whether it is to blame or not, we know that Iraq is an enemy, and we know that its government is hiding and producing weapons of mass destruction. The answer to this? That's right, nuke 'em� every facility� every weapon� and Saddam, as well.

Fourth, stop tying Israel's hands, and bring her into the coalition against terror. Israel is the only country that has suffered terrorism every day since its creation and, therefore, has the experience to deal with it. Whether our newfound (anti-Jewish) Muslim friends like it or not, our mishaps in this war show that we desperately need an Israel to give us some guidance.

These things that I suggested may not end terrorism outright, but they will do much to halt its progress. On the other hand, attempting to make friends out of the terrorists - our sworn enemies - does nothing but make us look weak and foolish.

Do NOT bring Israel into the coalition.. Leave her out for now.. If Israel is brought in, it would surely spark an all out battle against her, by ALL the Arab countries, in such a short period of time that the U.S. could not possibly respond to in time to safe the slaughtering of our brothers and sisters.. Israel, by far, has more experience handling terrorism than any other country on the face of the earth.. However, as I've said, It would be the demise of Israel.. Glorifying a suicide bomber in an art exhibit that is linked to the Genocide Conference being sponsored by (neutral) Sweden reveals the direction that Europe is heading in once again. The art in question was a photo of a terrorist on a sea of red. In the 30's a black Swastika on a sea of red was also considered art and was actually revered by much of Europe. Be aware that Adolf Hitler was a democratically elected member of the Reichstag, elected by the ancestors of the individuals recently polled by the E.U. (59%) identifying Israel as the greatest threat to world peace. This ommunities tendency of being anti-Judeo/Zionist pre-dates the inquisition. Generally the label Israel (the name of the Jewish State)is synonymous with Judaism or Zionism. It is easy to see how Europe is once again taking on an anti-Semitic tilt as Israel is being equated with other genocidal governments at this exhibition; yet, omitting mention of the suicide bombers philosophy of annihilation of the Jewish people (also ,there is no mention of the Nazi genocide which aided in the re-birth of the Jewish state). Mazel had the courage to protest the offensive use of art to glorify murder. We should all have this courage and oppose this dark cloud that is growing over Europe once again.

America accepted us as American Citizens, to live in freedom and away from humiliation and aggression. Even though, you have been attacking our freedom and our identity as American individuals for long time. I guarantee you that if you do not stop I will take every legal necessary step to make sure that you will be refrained from this conduct and disciplined by our legal system, based on the laws and justice. The second reason my America�s love and appreciation is that I feel in debt to this great country. Specifically when the Medicaid covered me with the entire cost of both of my hips replacements which reached $350,000.00 . The third reason, and not the least or last one, is that this country is providing my wife and my children with a high quality education right now, free of cost. All these reasons, and many others, makes me much more loyal than many others who live in this country. Do you think that I will turn my back against such giving country? (In your dreams!) If you think I am not a loyal citizen, or that many other Muslim leaders and Imams are not loyal to the United States, it must be that your ideas emanate from the hate which covers your sick heart. First of all, it's obvious Mr. Kaufman has never seen anyone die, never killed anyone, never witnessed the effect a bomb blast has on a human body. If he had, he would not talk in such lighthearted terms about mass-murder on a city-wide scale. Dropping a nuclear weapon on a major populated area is probably the worst thing the US could do right now - why do you think it hasnt already been done? Setting aside the obvious moral implications of killing millions of innocents and causing cancer and birth defects in millions more, it would effectively ostracise the US on the international stage, ceasing all co-operation from anyone. This may not matter to the flag-waving 'patriot', who cares nothing for world opinion, but understand that the US is not the only potent military power on this Earth. Also, consider the effect it would have on the attitudes of the Arab world; you will multiply terrorism exponentially, not eliminate it. Terrorist organisations do not have 'headquarters', do you imagine there to be a 'terrorist district' in Damascus? No, the organisations operate largely without central control, and that central control itself is not static. In the end, words can't change a man's mind, only the man himself can do that. So I ask you this in closing; imagine if you will a nuclear weapon dropped onto a major US city. Imagine millions of people being vaporised, blinded, set on fire and burned to death, condemned to wander sightless through the ruins. These people were innocent. There is no difference between American citizens and Syrian citizens in this regard, they are still innocent bystanders.
